Distie ECCTEC signs Mitel Unify in Australia and New Zealand
Telecommunications provider Mitel has named ECCTEC Distribution as its new distributor for the hybrid unified communications Unify portfolio across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific region.
The Sydney-based distributor brings three decades of experience in the communications sector to the partnership.
“This partnership is a significant step in ensuring we continue to deliver hybrid and mission-critical solutions that meet the needs of our customers”, Terence Tutaan, head of region for Mitel in ANZSP, said.
“ECCTEC is well aligned to Mitel’s strategies and strengths around hybrid and mission-critical solutions”, Tutaan said.
The distribution company operates from a warehouse in Macquarie Park, specialising in telecommunications, healthcare, and retail solutions.
“ECCTEC brings extensive product and market experience that will be invaluable to our partner community,” Joerg Adams, Mitel’s ANNZSP sales manager, said.
“Partners will benefit from their technical and marketing expertise, as well as access to value-added services like hosted Cloud Services,” Adams added.
ECCTEC’s leadership team includes industry veterans Paul Cooper as chief executive officer and Stuart Edge as chief information officer, both having worked with Siemens, Unify, and Atos since their Australian launches.
