ECCTEC is the new distributor for the Mitel/Unify portfolio across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific region. In this role, the Sydney-based distributor brings three decades of experience in the communications sector to the partnership.
As Terence Tutaan, head of region for Mitel in ANZSP said: “This partnership is a significant step in ensuring we continue to deliver hybrid and mission-critical solutions that meet the needs of our customers.”

But Exactly Who is ECCTEC?
Well firstly, ECCTEC stands for Enterprise Critical Communications Technology and the company is based in Sydney with a warehouse at Macquarie Park.
ECCTEC’s CEO is Paul Cooper and the CIO is Stuart Edge – both of whom have been in the communications sector for over 30 years and have been involved with Siemens/Unify/Atos since these companies launched in Australia.
As well, Paul and Stuart have run system integration companies and been involved with many distribution companies over this time. They have also supported other system integrators during this period.
As Paul said: “Both Stuart and I are extremely excited about this new partnership with Mitel. We look forward to working closely with them and their partners to grow business across the region.”
